First, a naked man steals a truck. Then, a couple finds a baby. It was an eventful Saturday for an east Texas family.

John and Katherine McClain woke up early and heard their neighbor's truck speeding off. They checked their security camera and saw a naked man trying to open the doors to their vehicle before jumping in their neighbor's truck and driving away.

When the neighbor reported the theft to police, the McClains thought the excitement was over -- until their dog, Archie, started acting up.

When Archie wouldn't stop barking at their backyard shed, the couple finally went outside to investigate -- and found something they couldn't possibly have expected: a baby girl.

A short time later, police tracked down the neighbor's stolen truck -- apparently disabled -- near the railroad tracks that run behind the McClains' home.

The man behind the wheel was the baby's father, authorities say. Clifford Jason Guynes, 43, was arrested and charged with injury to a child and abandoning/endangering a child. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and is being held on a $200,000 bond, KPRC reported.

As for the baby girl, KPRC reported that the 9-month-old was flown to Texas Children's Hospital and was treated for a broken femur. She's said to be recovering.
