Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The City of Buffalo's Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon announced on Tuesday a pair of changes to his administration personnel.
Scanlon finalized the changes in senior leadership to his administration on Tuesday, including Howard Grynspan, Director of Real Estate, being relieved of his duties and accepting the resignation of Brendan Mehaffy as Executive Director of the Office of Strategic Planning effective Dec. 16.
"These decisions were made after much thought and consideration and in-line with my well-known management approach to improve departmental functions, hold administration leadership accountable, and make city government function more efficiently and cost-effectively," said Mayor Scanlon in a statement.
"I want to thank Brendan and Howard for their years of dedicated service to the City of Buffalo, and I wish them well in their future endeavors."
