Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - WBEN has learned that an Erie County Court judge revoked a demolition permit for the properties at 110 and 118 South Park Avenue in Buffalo just hours before a fire broke out at the buildings last Tuesday night.

The ruling says that Buffalo City Housing Court exceeded its jurisdiction in granting an emergency demolition permit to property owner Darryl Carr. The ruling says only the City of Buffalo itself can issue emergency demolition orders.

WBEN can also confirm the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is assisting in the investigation of the fire.
