Grisanti censured for 2020 fight with police officer

After being censured by The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct for his role in a fight in 2020, Judge Mark Grisanti  will remain on the bench.

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - After being censured by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct for his role in a fight in 2020, Judge Mark Grisanti will remain on the bench.

A spokesperson from Gov. Kathy Hochul's Office shared a statement to WBEN on Wednesday:

"Gov. Hochul has the utmost respect for the men and women of law enforcement, and believes that all New Yorkers should treat them with respect. The Commission has determined that disciplinary action is appropriate in this case and we are reviewing its Determination."

Video shows Grisanti threatening an officer about to arrest his wife.
He was also handcuffed as a result of the incident.

The fight was over a parking space in front of the Grisanti home.
