The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. at a home on Kline Boulevard in Woodbridge on Thursday, June 16.

The husband and wife were returning home when a red Toyota Rav-4 with two men inside it followed them into their driveway, police said.

One of the suspects came out of the car, took out a handgun, and demanded the keys to the victims’ vehicle.

The husband resisted and a physical struggle began, according to cops. The suspect then shot the husband, striking him in the arm.

The suspect ran back to his own vehicle, the Rav-4, and fled the scene.
