NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted for repeatedly stabbing a man during a dispute aboard a Brooklyn subway train on Sunday, authorities said.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., a 43-year-old man was approached by an suspect that engaged him in a verbal dispute while aboard a southbound 3 train approaching the Atlantic Avenue subway station in Downtown Brooklyn, officials said.

According the the NYPD, the suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the head and torso.
The suspect then detrained at the Atlantic Avenue station and fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Authorities described the suspect as a male with a light complexion, approximately 20-25 years old, 6'0" in height and 180-200 pounds in weight. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black boots and a black Supreme hat.
