SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating the undetermined death of a woman found next to a dumpster on Long Island on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call for a woman lying on the ground next to a dumpster in the rear of Advanced Auto Parts located at 1140 Grand Ave. in South Hempstead at at 7:40 a.m.
Subsequent to the investigation, the female victim, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was transported to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
An investigation is ongoing.
