NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two 20-year-old men, including a good Samaritan, were attacked and robbed by two men in the Bronx, police said late Wednesday, releasing a photo of one of the perps.

Around 2:55 a.m., the first victim got into an argument with one of the two men on Teller Avenue near East 166th Street in Melrose on Saturday.

The dispute got heated, and the suspect punched the victim in the face, and the 20-year-old fell to the ground.

A second man then struck the victim multiple times while he was on the ground, police said.

Then, when the good Samaritan stepped in to try and break up the fight, the two assailants attacked him and struck him multiple times in the face.

The individuals then forcibly removed the victims’ cell phones, sweaters and wallets and ran off.

Both victims sustained injuries to their heads as a result of the incident.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
