VIDEO: Bronx smash-grab nets thieves over $130K in jewelry, 2 sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men wanted for stealing over $130,000 in jewelry in a smash-and-grab at a Bronx business in late April, authorities said Wednesday.

Just before 4 p.m. on Friday, April 29, the two suspects approached a jewelry store located at 2155 Grand Concourse in Fordham Heights and smashed the front window, police said.

The suspects proceeded to remove jewelry from the front display window valued at approximately $131,000 before fleeing the location to parts unknown.

The first suspect is described as a man that is approximately 6'0" tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white sneakers, black gloves, and a black face mask.

The second suspect is described as a man that is approximately 5'8" tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white sneakers, black gloves and a black face mask.
