Brooklyn taxi driver robbed by group at knifepoint

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a group of suspects who robbed a taxi driver at knifepoint in Brooklyn earlier this month, authorities said.

The robbery happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, officials said.

According to police, a 52-year-old man was driving his taxi in front of 3013 Newkirk Ave. in Flatbush, when the group of suspects displayed a knife and stole $400 dollars from the victim.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
