NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance to provide further information on a man who was arrested after he allegedly sexually abused several young girls at a Bronx school.

According to police, between November 2019 and July 2021, 30-year-old Gerardo Gutierrez sexually assaulted at least three girls under the age of 12 during a New York Junior Tennis League afterschool program that took place inside P.S. 100X located at 800 Taylor Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood.

Gutierrez was arrested at approximately 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15.

His charges include sex abuse, criminal sex act, course of sexual conduct against a child, and three counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17.

Gutierrez, a Bronx resident, pleaded not guilty and was held on $150,000 bail, according to court records.
