NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The driver of a vehicle that crashed in Queens nine days ago with two passengers has died, authorities announced Monday.

The collision occurred on Feb. 26 at the intersection of 101 Avenue and 115th Street when 24-year-old Marvens Michel of Brooklyn struck a parked Honda Civic and then crashed into a traffic pole while driving an Infiniti with two passengers inside, police said.
The passengers, Dennis Collins and Dariyus Collins, both 23, were transported to nearby hospitals in stable condition along with Michel who was in critical condition.
Police later charged all three with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and Michel faced additional charges for driving with a suspended license and for having improper plates.
On Monday, Michel died from injuries sustained during the crash.
The passengers, both Brooklyn residents, were arraigned in Queens Criminal Court Feb. 26 and freed on bond.
