Man pushed to ground, punched in head after dispute on MTA bus in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 52-year-old man was assaulted after exiting an MTA bus in Brooklyn and police are searching for the suspect.

Early on Friday, around 1:40 a.m., the victim got into a dispute with a man while they were both getting off the B26 MTA bus in front of 940 Wyckoff Ave. in Bushwick, authorities said.

After they were both off of the bus, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and punched him in the head before fleeing the scene on foot, according to police.

The victim was treated at Wyckoff Medical Center for a laceration on his forehead.

The suspect is described as short  in height, with a medium build, medium complexion and close-cut hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, gray pants and brown shoes.
