NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man asked an MTA worker for a face mask and then performed a lewd act in front of her at a Brooklyn subway station, police said Friday as they released an image of the suspect.
The 28-year-old employee was on duty at the 55th Street station in Borough Park around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 13 when the man approached the MTA booth and asked for a mask.
But the situation quickly took a disturbing turn when he exposed his genitals to her, police said.
He then allegedly performed a lewd act while in front of the booth.
The worker was not physically injured in the incident, police said.
The suspect fled the station and remains at large. Police believe he’s in his 30s.
