NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Cops are searching for a suspect who shot a man in the Bronx early Sunday morning in front of a sports bar.

The 50-year-old victim was in front of 27 Sports Bar & Cafe at 2 West Mount Eden Avenue in Mount Eden when the suspect discharged a firearm around 2:24 a.m., police said.
A bullet hit the victim in his right ankle, and the suspect fled the scene, according to officials.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Surveillance images of the suspect were captured.
