Man shot in leg on the Lower East Side

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — An alleged dispute over drugs in Lower Manhattan early Sunday morning led to a man getting shot in the leg, authorities said.

The 40-year-old victim was shot near Delancey and Forsyth Streets around 1:20 a.m., police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Two suspects in their 20s allegedly took drugs, possibly K2, from the victim before shooting him in the right leg, according The New York Post.

The investigation remains ongoing.
