The 25-year-old woman was walking her dog on Davidson Street, near Grandview Avenue, in Arlington around 4:15 p.m. last Wednesday when an unknown man began following her, according to police.

As the man was trailing the woman, he pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at her, police said.

None of the bullets struck the woman, and she was not injured, according to police.

Property in the area was damaged by the bullets, police said, without elaborating.

The suspect took off westbound down Grandview Avenue after the shooting, according to police.

A photo released by the NYPD on Thursday shows him in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
