Cops searching for man who slashed woman's face unprovoked on Brooklyn train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police searching for a man who slashed a woman’s face and hand in a seemingly random attack onboard a Brooklyn train Friday afternoon.

The 23-year-old victim was riding a northbound 3 train arriving at the Nostrand Avenue station in Crown Heights around 2:54 p.m. when a man slashed her unprovoked before fleeing the train on foot.

The victim stayed on the train for another stop, where she approached police and was brought to Kings County Hospital Center for treatment.
