VIDEO: Man steals $5K cash from Brooklyn store, knocks worker to the ground

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance video on Tuesday of a robber who stole $5,000 from a Brooklyn store and forced a worker to the ground last week.

Cops said the unidentified man entered Zhenda Trading, a small store in the basement of a Sunset Park building on 56th Street near Ninth Avenue, at 11:35 p.m. on Dec. 16. They said he perused items in the store and grabbed a shopping bag that contained a total of $5,000 in cash.

Video shows that as the suspect fled, a 31-year-old female store worker gave chase. He then knocked her to the ground and continued running.

The woman suffered pain to her leg, however, she refused medical attention..
