VIDEO: Man suffers serious leg, eye injuries in Bronx robbery; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released video footage of a man they are looking to identify in connection to a violent robbery that occurred earlier this month inside a Bronx building.

The incident happened at approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, inside a residential building in the vicinity of West 192nd Street and Jerome Avenue in the Fordham Manor neighborhood.

According to officials, the suspect approached a 42-year-old man and punched him in the face multiple times. The suspect then forcibly removed the victim's wallet, $60 dollars, $1500 pesos, a credit card, and a MetroCard before fleeing.

The victim sustained serious physical injuries to the leg and eye and was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
