
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident after a man riding a motorized scooter was struck on the FDR Sunday night, according to authorities.
According to officials, at approximately 10 p.m., the victim was riding the scooter on the highway near East 106th Street in East Harlem when he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver of the car kept driving after colliding with the scooter, the NYPD said.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition early Monday, police said.
Authorities have not made any arrests or released information on the vehicle.
An investigation remains ongoing.
