Teen boy arrested for stabbing another teen outside LI high school: officials

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested a teen boy for repeatedly stabbing another teen outside of a Long Island high school on Monday, authorities said.

According to police, at 2:45 p.m., two teens were involved in an argument outside of Uniondale High School located at 933 Goodrich Street in Uniondale.

The argument escalated and led to a 15-year-old boy stabbing a 17-year-old boy, several times in the neck, back and stomach, officials said.

The victim was stabbed once in the neck, once in the back and once in the abdominal area.

The suspect fled the scene and was later apprehended by Nassau County Police.

He was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
