VIDEO: Masked home invaders storm Brooklyn apartment, zip-tie, beat and rob resident

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for two masked suspects captured in terrifying video of a Brooklyn home invasion released Wednesday.

Video from 12 p.m. last Thursday shows the armed suspects rushing into the apartment of a 37-year-old man near West 5th Street and Neptune Avenue in Coney Island.

Police said the thieves forced their way inside as the victim opened his door.

The duo then used tape to zip-tie the victim’s hands, police said.

They threatened the victim with a knife and kicked him, according to police.

Video also appears to show one of the suspects rummaging through a refrigerator during the robbery.

Police said the pair eventually stole two watches and fled the home.

The victim refused medical attention, police said.
