NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The boyfriend of a 38-year-old woman fatally stabbed to death inside a Bronx apartment last week was arrested and charged with her murder on Thursday, police said.
Amadou Sy, 38, has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, identified as Semeka Daniel, to death on Dec. 14.

Police responded to a 911 call of a disorderly person at 729 East 219th Street, in the Olinville neighborhood at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers observed Daniel with a stab wound to the upper left torso, the NYPD said.
EMS transported the woman to Jacobi Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
