NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman was pushed onto subway tracks in Queens on Monday, but she was able to get back onto the platform with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Another woman shoved the 18-year-old victim onto the J-line tracks at the 75th Street–Elderts Lane station in Woodhaven around 10:30 a.m.
The victim didn't make contact with the electrified third rail and was able to remove herself from the tracks, police said.
She was treated at the scene for a laceration to her knee.

The suspect, who is not known to the victim, fled southbound on Jamaica Avenue. She was eventually apprehended by police.
It wasn't immediately clear if the two women had any interaction before the attack.
Word of the push comes amid a report this week that the MTA is nearing construction on a $100 million pilot project to install platform gates at three subway stations to prevent falls and shoves.
