
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night after being hit by a car turning into a driveway, authorities said.

The 25-year-old Massapequa man, Roscoe Pesce, was riding his Yamaha motorcycle on County Line Road near Oakley Street in Amityville around 8:30 p.m., according to police.
Pesce was hit by 49-year-old James Gallinat’s car as Gallinat was turning left into a residential driveway, officials said.
EMS workers transported Pesce to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
Gallinat was not injured during the collision.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
