NJ man dies after hitting guardrail and tree on Garden State Parkway

CLARK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WCBS 880) — A Linden, New Jersey man died during a crash on the Garden State Parkway early Sunday morning, police said.

The crash happened in Clark Township when 24-year-old Keyshawn Alexander was driving a BMW on the parkway and collided with a Nissan Altima causing him to veer off of the highway and hit a guardrail and tree, according to New Jersey State Police.

The driver in the Nissan Altima and a passenger sustained minor injuries, police said.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
