The driver, 49-year-old Colleen Eutermarks of Wantage was seen just after 5 p.m. “driving erratically” down Country Road 565 in Frankford, said Sgt. Alejandro Goez, spokesperson for New Jersey State Police.

Eutermarks was stopped by state troopers southbound at milepost 0.5, police said. She was arrested after authorities determined she was under the influence.

Police said Eutermarks was charged with being under the influence, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of prescription legend drugs and driving while intoxicated.

Though no children were on board the bus at the time of Eutermarks’ arrest, police said based on the time, she had been dropping off children while under the influence.

Information on the school district Eutermarks was driving for was not available.

Police added that during Eutermarks’ erratic driving period, no vehicles were struck.

Eutermarks was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention after she was processed and given a court date.
