Her Ford Taurus plowed into a Nissan Rogue while crossing the intersection of Route 31 and Rymon Road just before 1:30 p.m., officials said.

Her car struck the Rogue on the driver’s side, and the impact sent the Taurus careening off the road.

The Rogue came to a stop in the middle of the intersection.

At some point during the collision, a Ford Explorer was also struck, but it isn’t clear at what point it entered the equation.

The unidentified woman driving the Taurus was killed in the crash.

The other drivers avoided serious injury. No one was taken to the hospital.
