A Vikings’ rookie was shot four times while visiting his aunt in Washington DC.

According to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman was in “the wrong place at the wrong time.” Rosenhaus tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Twyman is “going to be OK” and will make a “full recovery.” He will not need surgery, according to Schefter.

Schefter reports Twyman was in a car when he was shot, experiencing superficial exit wounds.

Twyman was drafted in the 6th round of the 2021 draft out of Pitt.
