the greg hill show: Curtis is sick and tired of the Brady/Mahomes comparisons
The business ventures of Tom Brady are taking another step forward.
The former Patriots quarterback announced on Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday morning that TB12 Sports and Brady Brand are merging with NOBULL:
"I’m proud to announce that today, TB12 Sports and Brady Brand are merging with @nobull, forming one complete wellness company that at its core, will help people become the best version of themselves. We’re going to push harder than ever to help EVERYONE find the path to success on their own journey. The goal for us is massive growth that will change the game in training and nutrition for the world. There’s no limit on how many people we can impact and that’s what I’m most excited about.
I’ve been blessed to be surrounded with the most amazing teammates my entire career, and I feel fortunate to be joining another team that’s going to inspire the next generation of people to push themselves to be better! This wouldn’t be possible without Mike Repole, a great friend of mine who I have spent the past few talking with about my own journey. We’ve pushed each other to get better everyday and now it’s time to bring this attitude to the world.
To our families at TB12 and BRADY who have worked tirelessly on the mission to get us to this place, THANK YOU. There is no replacement for hard work and determination from a team with a singular shared mission, and that’s a mentality that we’ll bring with us to @nobull.
LETS GO!"
Brady founded TB12 Sports alongside long-time trainer Alex Guerrero back in 2013 but after 10 years together, the former QB sold off most of his shares, a source told WEEI back in October.
Guerrero then pivoted, rebranding with Brady out, and morphed TB12 into his own company called 'TBRx', partnering with Dr. Peter Cummings as CEO. The "revolutionary total body recovery company”, as it's called on its Instagram page, is called “a place where people who are in pain come to get out of pain, so they can keep doing the things they love to do.”
The TB12 facility at Gillette Stadium's Patriot Place closed in late October and a “TBRx”, which serves all existing former TB12 clients, opened three days later in Franklin, MA.
Now, Brady takes the "TB12 Sports" intellectual property, along with his "Brady Brand" apparel line, to NOBULL.
NOBULL, an athletics company based in Boston, MA, was founded by Marcus Wilson and Michael Schaffer in 2015. The brand has partnered with the CrossFit Games, the PGA Tour, the New England Patriots, and Mac Jones in the past.
According to a source, NOBULL dropped their partnership with Mac Jones this past season.
In July of 2023, business mogul Mike Repole, the founder of Vitaminwater and Body Armour, purchased a majority stake in the company. Their merge with Brady, TB12, and Brady Brand makes Brady the company's second-largest shareholder.
