After a decade away, Tom Carroll returned to WEEI in 2024 as a digital content producer, covering the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Boston College and more for WEEI.com and the WEEI social channels. Tom started his career here - first as a summer intern on “Mut & Merloni” in 2013, and then as an overnight/fill-in producer in 2014. Along the way, he's made stops at ESPN Radio, ESPN St. Louis, 98.5 The Sports Hub, FOX Sports Radio and WTAG. He also spent time in the sports betting space, with stops at VegasInsider, DraftKings and Action Network. He's a 2014 graduate of Emerson College, where he was captain of the NCAA Division III men’s volleyball team and a radio host for WECB. He’s a native of Lincoln, RI, and he once accidentally sent an email blast to thousands of ESPN employees letting them know he put freezepops in the break room freezer…hence the nickname, “TommyFreezePops.”
