The Patriots seem to be getting at least some of the band back together on offense heading into 2024.

After re-signing Hunter Henry on Friday, New England has reportedly come to terms with Kendrick Bourne on a three-year deal. Bourne was set to hit unrestricted free agency this week. He now returns to Foxborough.

According to the Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan, it's a three-year, $19 million contract with a maximum value of $33 million. The deal includes a $4.2 million signing bonus.

Bourne was putting together a career season in 2023 before tearing his ACL against the Dolphins in late October, tallying 37 receptions for 406 yards and four touchdowns through the Patriots' first eight games.

In an appearance on NFL Network last week, Bourne said his knee doctor recently gave him some "good news":

"He let me know that I’m going to be ready, come in minicamp getting ready and then training camp I’m full go," he explained. "My plan is to play Game 1. I believe I’ll be ready. Where I’m at right now, on track, ahead of schedule and I feel good. So, building that confidence, building my strength in my legs so that I can be ready to go Game 1."

Bourne likely isn't the only move the Patriots will make in the wide receiver room this week. According to CBS Sports Josina Anderson, New England is "definitely in the market" for a veteran wide receiver and according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, they’re expected to “swing big” at wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

NFL free agency's "legal tampering" period opens on Monday at 12 noon.
