Robert Kraft, Stanley Morgan named 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalists

It’s never been a question if Patriots owner Robert Kraft will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame or not, it was just a matter of when.

Well it looks like his chance may be coming. The NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday their list of semi-finalists for their 2024 class, and New England’s owner was one of them.

The CEO of The Kraft Group has owned the team since 1994 and has been an integral part in helping bring six Super Bowl titles to the Foxborough.

Kraft wasn’t the only one from the Patriots organization nominated on Wednesday, as former wide receiver Stanley Morgan received a nod in the Seniors category as well.

Morgan played with New England from 1977-1989 and is the franchises all-time leading receiver with 10,352 receiving yards. He also has the most yards per reception (19.2) in NFL history among players with more than 500 career receptions. Morgan was a made four-time Pro Bowler.

The next step in the process is for the respective committees to vote the pools down to 12 seniors and 12 coaches/contributors. Results are announced on July 27.
