Football season is officially back, but Gio doesn’t feel that way in New York.

Al Dukes was discussing his “cool games” of Week 1 to get ready for more football action on Sunday, the first full slate of the season after Thursday night’s season opener, and Gio is convinced there will be no games on that list all year that involve the Giants or Jets.

“Already no cool games here?” Gio said. “You’re not gonna get one all year. You really think we’ll get one cool game between these two teams?

“Maybe if Zach Wilson comes back and they’re going for a winning record.”

Eddie Scozzare added that a fight for the No. 1 overall pick would be the likelier candidate for a “cool game” involving a New York team, and Boomer chimed in that his crew mates were being too harsh on the Giants and Jets. Gio, critical of the teams’ irrelevancy all week as football approaches, disagreed.

“We’re unbelievable? They’re unbelievable,” Gio said. “They’re the ones that are unbelievable.”
