Aroldis Chapman entered Friday night’s game in Baltimore with a 7-3 lead, exited with a 7-6 edge after surrendering a three-run home run, and his replacement Michael King walked off the field with a reported season-ending elbow injury shortly after.
Yankees Twitter quickly linked the two, and promptly ripped Chapman for another bad outing that led to King’s necessity, an outing that ended with an elbow fracture to one of the most valuable arms in the New York bullpen.
Safe to say, Yankee fans were not happy with Chapman on Friday night.
