Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio550)- In a game following an abysmal offense performance, Josh Allen and the offense had sparks flying that Bills Mafia fans were use to watching.
With a stellar performance from the reigning NFL MVP saw him throw for three touchdowns while also adding three on the ground Allen knows that consistency is the key for this team.
"We got to do a good job on not riding the wave, trying to stay as level as possible, not getting too high and not getting too low," said Allen. "Starting off 4-0, people say we're the best team in the world, then we lose two in a row and now we're the worst team in the world. We don't want to ride that wave, we just want to stay here, stay consistent, continue to work hard, put together game plans to go out there and execute every game."
Special teams played a big part in helping the offense get into good field position throughout the game and Allen was well aware.
"I'm proud of how they returned today. And you know that's huge for an offense to win the field position like that. I think as we talked about it's a three phase game. I think we won all three phases today, if you take away the first two possessions on offense and I'm proud of our guys."
