Benford seen in a walking boot after Thursday's practice

The Bills' No. 1 cornerback was seen after practice in a walking boot, and was listed with a toe injury

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After receiving no new injuries during their 39-34 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills had a surprising name appear on the Thursday injury report in Orchard Park.

Bills cornerback Christian Benford was added to the team's injury report on Thursday with a toe injury. Benford did not appear on Wednesday's injury report, though, it was only a walk-through practice in Orchard Park.

Benford was seen after practice in a short walking boot.

The 25-year-old has been the a difference maker in the last two games for the Bills. He's recorded two defensive touchdowns, two interceptions, and even a sack.

The only other injury on the report was backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who did not practice with an illness. Tight end Dawson Knox also returned to practice in full after not practicing on Wednesday with a personal matter.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott will next speak during his weekly appearance on the "The Extra Point Show" on Friday with Sal Capaccio.
