Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills add more another wide receiver depth this offseason with the signing of Trent Sherfield to a one-year deal on Monday.

The 27-year-old had a career year last season with the Miami Dolphins as the No. 3 option behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. He caught 30 passes for a career-high 417 yards and two touchdowns.

Before his stint in Miami, Sherfield spent one season with the San Francisco 49ers, and three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals beforehand.

During his college career at Vanderbilt, the 6-foot-1 receiver was a Fred Biletnikoff Award candidate during his senior season as the top wide receiver in the NCAA.

Sherfield now joins a wide receiver group that just added Deonte Harty last week at the start of NFL Free Agency.
