Bills starting initial head coach search with several familiar names

Team has reportedly sought interviews with several candidates

Orchard Park, NY (WGR550) - On a day where Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula and President of Football Operations and general manager Brandon Beane are set to speak with the media, several names have emerged as candidates for the team's vacant head coach position.

According to various reports, the Bills have requested interviews with the following six coaches, as of Wednesday morning:

Four of these six coaches have been with the Bills in some capacity.

Daboll was the team's offensive coordinator from 2018-2021 and most recently served as the head coach of the New York Giants before being fired in November.

Brady is the Bills current offensive coordinator and has been with the organization since 2022.

During his time in Buffalo in 2015 and 2016, Lynn served as the assistant head coach, running backs coach, offensive coordinator, and interim head coach when Rex Ryan was fired. He's currently the run game coordinator and running backs coach for the Washington Commanders.

Weaver was the Bills defensive line coach in 2013 and currently the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins.

Anarumo is the Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator.

Udinski is currently the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills fired Sean McDermott on Monday after nine years as head coach.
