Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - On a day where Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula and president of football operations and general manager Brandon Beane are set to speak with the media, several names have emerged as candidates for the team's vacant head coach position.
According to various reports, the Bills have requested interviews with the following six coaches, as of Wednesday morning:
Four of these six coaches have been with the Bills, in some capacity.
Brian Daboll was the team's offensive coordinator from 2018-21, and most recently served as head coach of the New York Giants before being fired this past November.
Joe Brady is the current offensive coordinator in Buffalo, and has been with the organization since 2022.
During his time in Buffalo in 2015 and 2016, Anthony Lynn served as the assistant head coach, running backs coach, offensive coordinator, and interim head coach when Rex Ryan was fired before the final game in 2016. He's currently the run game coordinator and running backs coach for the Washington Commanders.
Anthony Weaver was the Bills' defensive line coach in 2013, and is currently the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins.
Lou Anarumo is the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.
As for Grant Udinski, he is currently the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Bills fired Sean McDermott on Monday after nine years as head coach.
