The Bills had an inconsistent night on both sides of the ball. The defense, at times, couldn't stop a powerful Jets running game, and the offense, at times, couldn't get the ground or air game going.

As for the defense, the unit was able to stay consistent in stopping the Jets air attack, however, it wasn't enough.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott had a lot to say about the different changes that need to be made in the team's game plan. The biggest change of all is a lack of balance when it comes to the offensive game.

"It can't be a one-man show. I don't think it's a one-man show. but there definitely needs to be more consistency from the other positions and putting them in position, as well," said McDermott following Sunday's loss. "That starts with me. We need to put them in a position to be successful."

McDermott noted another problem was a lack of variety on the offensive side of the ball, and that the team was too one-dimensional.

"I felt like we got a little bit too one-dimensional at times, and they've got a good defensive front," McDermott said.
