Orchard Park N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is considered "day-to-day" with his right elbow injury suffered in last Sunday's loss to the New York Jets, according to head coach Sean McDermott.

When meeting with the media on Wednesday before practice, McDermott was asked about Allen's potential availability to play this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at Highmark Stadium. McDermott simply put it as, "We'll see."

Allen will not practice on Wednesday, and according to WGR Bills beat reporter Sal Capaccio, was not seen during the media-open portion of practice outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center.

If Allen cannot go for Sunday's matchup with the 7-1 Vikings, backup quarterback Case Keenum will make the start for Buffalo.

Allen wasn't the only player not practicing on Wednesday, as neither linebacker Tremaine Edmunds or safety Jordan Poyer were on the practice field. McDermott called both players day-to-day, and said the same for cornerback Tre'Davious White, who was on the field.

Poyer suffered his elbow injury in the Bills' win over the Green Bay Packers, and missed their matchup last week against the New York Jets.

Linebacker Matt Milano was also practicing, but wearing a red non-contact jersey. Milano was among those who missed last Sunday's loss to the Jets with an oblique injury.

Also on Wednesday, offensive lineman Ike Boettger, who has been on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list all season with a torn Achilles, was seen working with trainers for the first time.
