“Man, I love these guys,” said Miller on Tuesday upon being with most of his new teammates for just over 24 hours. “You know, I knew about it. I know about the team. I know about the players here. But the collection of guys, the collection of personalities, is nothing like I've ever been on.”

Miller signed with the Bills as a free agent this offseason, leaving the Los Angeles Rams, where he spent the second half of last season and ultimately won Super Bowl LVI. Even though he admits he’s still getting used to the weather upon his arrival, he feels right at home at One Bills Drive.

“I was with the Rams last year, and it was like a Pro Bowl every day," Miller said. "You got talented guys all around from Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford. I had Odell Beckham [Jr.], his locker was right across from mine, and we had a great locker room there.

"This locker room is great, man. It kind of has like a college vibe here at the facility. Facilities are great here. Whenever we're here at work is great. When you walk outside, I'm still getting used to the wind and being in Buffalo. But everybody that I talked to that moved here from big cities, they love it. They grow this love for the city, they grow this love for the snow and the wind. I'm hoping that it'll be me, but I haven't got there yet. When we're here at the facility is, you know, this is a dream. It just reminds me of why I made the decision to come here to the Buffalo Bills.”

Miller credits wide receiver Stefon Diggs for pushing him to understand how much he would love being in Buffalo, both as a city and a member of the team.

“Everybody's going to say they love Buffalo, but I think the guy that really got me going was Diggs," the 33-year-old said. "I know Diggs on and off the football field, and when he told me that Buffalo is a place that he's good here, that we’ll figure out whatever it is off the football field and in the locker room, we're going to be fun. His opinion of the team and his analysis of what type of team this will be, and the city and all this stuff, I took that to heart. That really was the biggest reason why I came here.”

Diggs recently signed a massive four-year contract extension to remain with the Bills. He was traded to Buffalo prior to the 2020 season from the Minnesota Vikings, and said that when that happened, a lot of people told him he wouldn’t like it. That wasn’t the case at all. He loves being in Buffalo and the family atmosphere of both the area and organization.

“Having Stefon Diggs, an international superstar here, and he said, 'It's good, man. You're gonna be good here.’ I took that to heart,” Miller said, recalling his conversations with Diggs as the receiver was recruiting him to the Bills. “That was really one of the biggest decisions that got me over the hump, because leaving L.A. to Buffalo, man, it's got to be some special stuff. They got Josh Allen and all these guys. I was already ready to come, but when Diggs was like, ‘Bro, it’s good here. We're gonna be good. We're gonna go win the Super Bowl. You're gonna love the locker room. You're gonna love the facility. You're gonna love all the guys that work and make this thing go. The cafeteria ladies, the PR guys, the janitors and the workers here. You're gonna love all these guys, man.’ I've been here for two days, and he didn't lie to me, for sure.”
