Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills round out their practice squad on Thursday with the addition of some veteran leadership at linebacker and a third-string quarterback behind Josh Allen and Kyle Allen.
The Bills officially announced the signings of linebacker Christian Kirksey and quarterback Shane Buechele to the 16-man practice squad.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport first reported the Bills' plans to sign Kirksey to their practice squad after he was released by the Houston Texans earlier this week. Bills general manager Brandon Beane confirmed the team's intentions on Wednesday, saying Kirksey only needed to go through the process of passing his physical before things could be made official.
