Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - In his first public comments since being arrested in Texas on charges of domestic violence during the bye week, Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller said on Thursday the allegations against him and details of the incident are "completely wrong and blown out of proportion."
Miller met with the Buffalo media after the team's practice, as they continue to prepare to face the New England Patriots this coming Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
The 34-year-old surrendered to police just outside of Dallas on Nov. 30, and was charged with assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, which is a felony in the State of Texas.
"The only thing that is true is that we do have a third son on the way," said Miller on Thursday. "Everything else is untrue."
Miller has continued to play since the arrest, with Bills general manager Brandon Beane saying the team will let the legal process play out and follow the league's lead on the investigation.
Injury report:
Defensive end Shaq Lawson was the only player on the active roster who did not participate in Thursday's practice, as he deals with an illness.
The team also announced on Thursday they have re-activated defensive lineman Kameron Cline from practice squad Injured Reserve and released cornerback Herb Miller from the practice squad.
