Dahlin takes fourth place in NHL Accuracy Shooting contest

While the NHL All-Star game takes place on Saturday, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin took part in the NHL Skills Competition on Friday night in Las Vegas.

Dahlin was part of the Honda NHL Accuracy Shooting contest, along with Sebastian Aho of the Carolina Hurricanes, Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins, Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers, Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames, Jake Guentzel of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Clayton Keller of the Arizona Coyotes, Jonathan Marchessault of the Vegas Golden Knights and Troy Terry of the Anaheim Ducks.

Dahlin ultimately took fourth place in the event, hitting four targets on six attempts in just 17.205 seconds.

For a brief period of the competition, Dahlin hit the four targets in the fastest time. However, the eventual winner was Aho, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with his attempts in 10.937 seconds.

Saturday's NHL All-Start Game begins at 3 p.m. EST with the Atlantic Division facing off with the Central Division in a 3-on-3 competition. The winner of that contest will take on the winner of the matchup between the Metropolitan Division and Pacific Division.
