Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - If you're a Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan, you probably missed the hockey team's preseason opener against the Washington Capitals on Sunday afternoon.
There's no shame in missing a 2 p.m. ET preseason game when the Bills and Dolphins kicked off at 1 p.m. ET in Miami.

The Sabres roster for Sunday's game featured several star prospects, such as Jack Quinn, JJ Peterka, Matthew Savoie, and Jiri Kulich, along with NHLers like Dylan Cozens and Peyton Krebs.
Quinn received most of the headlines in Sunday's win, after scoring the game-tying goal with 1:05 to go in the third period. However, most, if not all of the kids flashed their skill during the contest.
Sneaky Joe shares his notes after watching back on the Sabres' win in the nation's capital on the latest edition of the "Locked On Sabres" podcast. You can listen to the latest episode in the player below:

The Sabres next host the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. ET faceoff at KeyBank Center. Tune in for all the preseason action on the radio home of the Sabres - WGR Sports Radio 550.
