It’s that time of year again for WWJ's 19th Annual Newsradio 950’s Annual Winter Survival Radiothon for THAW, The Heat and Warmth Fund.
Join WWJ Today from 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. as we raise funds to pay utility bills for low-income and vulnerable Michigan residents by taking pledges from callers during the 14-hour day.

Some people might not think twice about turning up their thermostat a few degrees — especially on a cold, snowy day like today.
Unfortunately, thousands of families in Southeast Michigan cannot even afford to heat their homes or keep the lights on. Some have even faced the situation of choosing between warmth or providing food and medication for their families.
Last year, THAW assisted nearly 18,000 such struggling families thanks in part to the WWJ Winter Survival Radiothon for THAW. On Friday, tune in to WWJ all day long for your chance to join us in helping even more Michiganders facing crisis.
The Online Auction for THAW, The Heat And Warmth Fund, is now live! Help raise donations to keep families safe and warm this winter by bidding on items in the Online Auction. Many have generously donated a variety of exciting items, with all proceeds going toward the Radiothon for THAW.
