DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a strip club on the city's west side.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports that the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Dolla Bill Club in the 17000 block of Plymouth Rd., near the Southfield Freeway.
According to police, a 28-year-old man was outside the business when two unknown male suspects in dark clothing approached and began shooting. After the incident, the suspects fled in a dark-colored vehicle heading south on Longacre.
Langton reported that the victim was shot in the chest and arm. Police rendered aid when they arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Later Wednesday. police said they were still searching for the two suspects. There is no description of the wanted men at this time.
Investigators discovered shell casings from the shooting at Longacre and Rutland streets, and were reviewing surveillance video from the area.
As for a motive, police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated.

The victim's name was not immediately released.
